Frances King is a registered Comprehensive nurse.  She has a post graduate diploma in health science with a child and adolescent mental health specialty.  Frances has been working within the mental health arena for the past fifteen years in a range of clinical and community settings including adult mental health, early intervention and child and adolescent mental health.  She has experience working with iwi, and geographically isolated populations with multiple complex issues.  Frances' clinical practice has involved assessment, treatment and monitoring of mental health issues, risk assessment and Duly Authorised Officer work, education, support, teaching, preceptorship, and clinical supervision.

Frances has previously worked on the Postvention Support Iiniative for CASA and is now a Consultant with the company.  She is also Team Leader of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service for Tairawhiti District Health.
